Before I start this post off with a bunch of jibber jabber, I want to strat out with an apology and a Thank You to Pam & Sue! I want to apologize for taking so long to get these up and want to thank you for giving me these great blog awards, I really do appreciate them!! I will announce next time I blog who I will pass these on to. Thank again ladies!
(Late insert)- This is an image that I got to play with over at Tellen's Place and you can receive one too if you head on over there! Today the 1st challenge has kicked off and guess what? There's prizes! So come show us some love, I can't wait to see what you come up with!!
So I am now in Maryland with my hubby, woo hoo! It's strange being here without my kiddos. Those that know me, know my situation. For those that have just recently started following my blog, I am in the Navy and my hubby is a civilian contractor, who commutes from Maryland to Virginia every weekend to see the kids and I. I have only driven up this way once since moving from here. So I am here taking a four day class about transitioning from Navy life to civilian life. They also teach you how to write a resume, prepare for a job interview and dressing for success. The class is also teaches you about what benefits you are entitles to when you separate. I am hoping & praying that I will have taken this class in vain and will not need these lessons for another 6 years. Waiting on test results to come back to let me know if I have made it to the next pay grade or not. If not, then these are lessons well learned.
So I would like to recap on a few things going on and create links so they do not get lost in the in the blog pile.
1st- Go to this great and awesome challenge blog called: If the shoe fits...Scrap it! There is a sketch challenge going on. Well...it's my sketch, lol, so I hope you enjoy and I would really love to see what you come up with. You do not have to follow it to the tee, make it your own.
2nd- I have been invited to join this great team of women of at TELLENS PLACE. The Blog once it start's on the 18th of November is sure not to disappoint! Right now my DT mate Alissa has a BLOG CANDY giveaway when we reach 100 members, so make sure you stop by ALISSA DESIGNS CABINS for details! The blog officially opens Nov. 18th.
3rd- I would like everyone to still be aware of this woman and hear about my dealing with her and her online store. She is a convicted criminal and would be happy to provide you with the link, if you email me. I still have not received my goods from her, nor have I received a refund. It's too late for the bank to step in. Read about it here. Buyer Beware!
4th- I would love for you all to check out this blog! YOU INSPIRE ME
She is really doing some positive things in our scrapping community. I think it is a great thing what Pam is doing. Such a shame she does not have many people following to get such great stories on the ladies that she interviews. Who knows you could be next to feature on her blog! Check it out and let me know what you think.
5th- Check out Create it Green, please support them, they are awesome awesome ladies scrapping earth friendly! Let em know Tanisha sent ya over to check em out!
Okay, here is something that I was working on. I never have time to really work on anything for myself, unless it has something to do with a DT challenge. So I took some time to make a little card as well as practice my coloring at the same time. I had to prepare myself somehow for this weekend to come, lol! (Copic Certification Class) I also get to take some cool scrappy classes with my gal pals Tracey & Lesley in S.C.!
So anyway, here it is. Now for those experts out there, lol, don't be too harsh on my stamp coloring techniques, lol, I am still learning. There are so many of you talented women out there. So many that are really awesome at this, I hope to among that group of women soon!
I used: CTMH stamp set, (not the name) CTMH & Tim Holtz Ink. Copic & Bic Markers.

Tanisha, you're such an awesome woman! I love how you promote others, sharing love and helping the world be a better place. Transition to civilian life...as an ex-Navy wife, it was okay for us, but I think the sailor guy struggled a bit - heard he's doing okay (lol!)...so his kids tell me. I love EssenseVibez's blog! Not only does it share the positive side of life, it hold the most creative scrap pages ever! I'm a follower, honey chile! I love being inspired by sophisticated and talented beauties! Your card is beautiful Tanisha! You know I am a fan of your work anyway! I'd Copic Certify you if I could! :) Thanks for the love!
