Wow, so much going on!

So first I want to start this post out, by saying hello Tim, Love you (my hubby) in case he decides to read this tonight. He commutes every weekend from Maryland to see us, because of his job, it's hard but we manage. I only see him weekends, holidays and any vacations we may have. We have been doing this for about a year, so far we have not fell apart yet. I try to scrap during the week, so all my time is with him on the weekend, but between work, tae kwon do, working out, and other odds and ends on the weekday it gets so hard, lol! But I manage. So I am too happy when I am able to get stuff done, that is not our challenge blog (iftheshoefitsscrapit) related!

I want to say congrats and ask if you can please stop by Essensevibez page and congratulate her on getting published!! She made a toilet paper album that is just too cute!! I am proud for her. Check out her other works of art as well, such as her journal albums, they are stunning!! I told her she need to sell them! Don't you think she should???

I still don't think I did her justice, because of my lack of markers, lol, but I think I didn't do too shabby. I know some of you out there are killers with the copics, so go easy on me! One For All & All For One! Adventures Of The New 3 Musketeers!

Sooooooo, I have went to my very first Nascar race and it was a trip!! I had so much fun, I can still hardly contain myself just writing this. most of you Nascar junkies probably know what I mean, those who don't, GO TO A RACE one time and I promise you will be hooked!

I even got to hug Tracey's man!! Micheal Waltrip. LOL!!! But she wasn't mad, because he hugged her first!!! He even knew who she was, she had to deliver the fan club binders to him.

First let me say to my girl Tracey, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Next thanks Tracey and Leslie Thank You for inviting me, though I was a little skeptic in the beginning, all doubts and have been quickly erased! My husband and my co-worker even got a chance to go and it was their first time as well!

Let me just say I think we were the luckiest people on earth that day!! We got to go to a post race celbration and actually get to talk to some of the drivers, such as Jeff Gordan, Mark Martin (who i have adopted as my driver, lol) and even Denny found time to come have answer some questions for us! now I say us, I mean about 160 of US, lol, but compared to how many people were actually at the race, those numbers are pretty damn good! Thanks to Tracey, her and les had already had VIP passes and such a funny story on how we scored 3 more with her phone and her shirt and me sweet talking the guy into getting one more! So make sure you check out her blog periodically, because she is sure to tell it! She has a pic of miss Sprint Cup pointing me out to Mark Martin!! I swear I was so nervous!!! What will I do at the Jamie Foxx concert later this week, lol!!

We sat up front, so I got excellent pics of the interviews! So as I update I will throw a few pics in. This was such a great experience, I am still in awe!

Something New I Am Trying

Well, the vacation is over! I have to return back to work tomorrow and I am still up, why? I still have much to do before I turn in. Well one is this, I am going to try to post a sketch challenge once a week on my blog, for right now, there will not be a particular day I post, nor a prize (for right now). Just thought it would be something fun to do, as well as show off some sketches I have learned to do.

LSP Sketch #1

Easy like Sunday morning

Wow! The weekend has come and go so quickly. I swear it seems like the older I get, the faster time speeds up. Remember when the summer used to feel like a year? LOL. Well, anyways I am on this Sunday morning, enjoying DVR recorded episodes of Hawthorne. I must say this show is very entertaining on all levels and I hope they have some longevity on the air. Not to mention that Jada Pinkett Smith is one of my favorite actresses.

Now on a little less reality, a new show that is on the rise, that is on it's on it's second season, that you should really check out, is True Blood. Now I am not a big vampire freak, shoot, I could not even watch the howling for years, but True Blood, is a great show. It is romantic, suspenseful, and mysterious all in one. Every Sunday night there is a new episode, but you may want to check your On Demand for past episodes, and there are only 3 new one left.

Here is one of my recent LO's I have worked on (granted I have so little time to squeeze stuff in). I just love this pic of her, right after getting into some chocolate chip cookies! I swear that girl has a nose like a blood hound for them.

So, I am actually posting in less than a months time, wow, what is really going on? Anyways, I am taking a quick break from studying for my rating exam that I have to take in September. This is what is going to determine if I am going to even ever be able to scrap again. Yeah its that big of a deal. The test is September 6th and I can pass it all I want, I have to be to score high enough to advance. This is the very last time I can take this test. If I do not advance, I will be discharged from the Navy in February. So please keep me in your prayers, I definitely need them all.

Now to better news....Scrapbooking!!!!! It's just one project today, which you can also catch on our blog Iftheshoefits...scrapit! Where we give you prizes just for doing something you love!

Okay so I have not done this in awhile. My random off topic rants.

Fast Food (which I need to stay clear of) - Why, oh why, is it that when you put in your order and it gets to you and it is wrong, it is YOUR fault? Even when you go in with the nicest attitude and just ask if they can make it correct, they prepare to beat you at getting mad? Note to self- STOP EAT FAST FOOD.

Clothes - Why is it that your clothes look so much cuter on you in the store than at home? Maybe I should plan all my outings at the store.

Last but not least, is Facebook not the most addictive thing right now? LOL, alright, Goodnight everyone!
